I am currently a senior
researcher in the Graphics Lab
of the USC Institute for Creative
Technologies and a research assistant professor of Computer Science at USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. My current research
interests include realistic rendering, computational photography, Monte Carlo methods and machine learning techniques for
graphics and vision.
I completed my PhD in Computer Science
at the University of British Columbia,
where I was affiliated to the Imager Computer
Graphics Laboratory, and supervised by Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich.
My doctoral
dissertation was in the area of realistic rendering and is a
recipient of the
2007 Alain
Fournier PhD thesis award.
I obtained my Master's in Computer
Science from Stony Brook
University, where I was supervised by Prof. Arie Kaufman in the Visualization Lab.
