of the USC Institute for Creative
Technologies. My current research interests include realistic
rendering, computational photography, Monte Carlo
methods and machine learning techniques for graphics and vision.
I recently completed my PhD in Computer
Science at the University of British
Columbia, where I was affiliated to the Imager Computer
Graphics Laboratory, and supervised by Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich.
My doctoral
dissertation was in the area of realistic rendering and is a
recipient of the
2007 Alain
Fournier PhD thesis award.
I obtained my Master's in Computer
Science from Stony Brook
University, where I was supervised by Prof. Arie Kaufman in the Visualization Lab.
