I work at the Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) which is a National Research Lab associated with The University of Southern California.

I am head up the Virtual Patient Lab creating realistic fully embodied interactive emotionally expressive characters that act as patients to be used to train clinicians in skills such as Interpersonal communications, diagnosis, Interviewing and general bed side competencies.

I have been at ICT for over 5 years at first managing the Virtual Humans Group, then spining off my own Virtual Patient Lab applying the virtual human technology for medical simulation.

I have many interests and passions from Art, Music, Creativity to Science and combining them all to Games and The Matrix. I have been many places and learned many things, the main thing that I have learned is that the more you know, the more you know you don't know. And it will take many life times to know it all, that is why we are building computers in our own image, because they will be the keepers of knowledge and we will evolve into them, or combine with them as cyborg hybrids, don't worry, it will be a good thing, and you won't loose that sense of self or that thing that makes us human.

I am a scientist, philosopher, artist, designer, engineer, musician, researcher, visionary, thinker.

I work in Artificial Intelligence, I'm here to stay that is my passion.
